I'm planning a vacation to Florida for a week or two depending on what I can get off work. Does anyone have any experience or can tell me if its worth traveling with Spirit Airlines after all the hidden fees? Any different recommendations?

DO NOT USE THEM, unless you get the super cheap fairs or something. Even when we get those deals, they usually end up being $100 with all the hidden fees. IMO use Air Tran if they fly in your area. Not only that but the Spirit attendants are super rude, and you have to pay for carry on luggage? So ridiculous..

I just got back from Florida to New York with Spirit Airlines because there were sligtly cheaper then Jet Blue, ok where shall i begin, the Spirit attendants were actually very friendly, but as manny said you have to pay $30 even for your first carry on luggage? pay $3 for each sanck or drink, at the end i paid much more then i would have with Jet Blue now that's ridiculous
